As many as 1,98,228 candidates had cleared the JEE (Main) examination which was held both online and offline in 132 cities.
IIT Guwahati has said that getting a rank in JEE Advanced 2016 will not ensure admission to IITs or ISM, adding, rank lists will be prepared based on the aggregate marks in JEE (Advanced) 2016.
After the release of the results, the All India Ranks of successful candidates will be made available on the website, although the candidates will not receive personalized rank cards
